Since
1989,Thompsons Oil and Propane has been the energy experts
you can trust, providing quality service and delivery to
all of Waldo County. We take great pride in helping our
customers save money, guaranteeing warmth and comfort to
their families. With fuel prices going through the roof,
I'm sure most everyone has questions and concerns on how
we can all save.
Here
are a few ideas we can all do to save:
Others
have turned to alternative heating sources. Researching
the heating equipment, the availability and the efficiency
of the fuels, can seem overwhelming. Some factors needing
concideration are the cost of the heating unit, the convenience
and labor involved to keep your equipment fueled, storage
of the fuel and the effect on the environment.
Our
recommendations would be to first invest in making your
home more energy efficient. Replacing windows and doors,
and adding insulation will reduce your heat loss and consumption
of oil. Second would be to invest in a supplemental heating
source. A propane heater is an environmentally friendly
choice. Propane burns cleaner, works harder, and operates
smarter. It has built-in safety properties along with stringent
safety regulations. Go to our links section and check out
some of the quality propane equipment we carry.
Until
now, Maine oil customers primary resource for money savings
was to compare oil prices from different companies. The
goal should not be to merely save pennies on gallons of
oil with an inefficent system, but to burn less oil. Commodities
are rising faster than manufacturers can produce price sheets
and the cost of fuel is being reflected as surcharges. Although
we don't have the ability to control all of these issues,
we do control our ability to listen. So, if you have any
thoughts or ideas how we can serve you better, please let
us hear from you.
Again,
"Thank You " to our loyal customers. As
always, if you have any question regarding equipment or
fuel, don't hesitate to call or stop in. We're always glad
to help.
